Pray for a Good School Year for All Children and Adults

Dear Friends,

Please pray for a good school year for all children and their teachers, parents, and grandparents.

Ask God to fill all children and adults with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

Ask God to help all of us to learn to communicate and settle misunderstandings peacefully.

Ask God to inspire people to create jobs and salaries for the unemployed.

Ask God to empower the homeless to find shelter and jobs for themselves and their families.

Ask God to empower lawmakers with wisdom, justice, and honesty.

Say the “Our Father” and ask God to give you wisdom to share with people who may need your help to make good choices in their lives during this school year.  Thank God for all that he has given you and for all he will give you.

“Our Father, who art in Heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.”

Thank you for reading my blog.

God is on your side.

A Spirit of Thankfulness

A spirit of thankfulness brings you more of what you are thankful for:
I am thankful for God, who is beside me right now.
I am thankful for family.
I am thankful for friends.
I am thankful for strangers who stop to help those in need.
I am thankful for knowledge that helps me make good choices.
I am thankful for children who help us to laugh.
I am thankful for food on our tables.
I am thankful for transportation to get me here and there.
I am thankful for the sunshine and positive words that keep me from despair.
I am thankful for God’s word that gives me guidance in how to live.
I am thankful people are willing to share.
I am thankful for homes that warm our hearts and our bodies.
I am thankful for people of all faiths who minister to the needs of our souls.
I am thankful that you have read my blog.
I ask God to bless you and give you whatever you need to help grow the seed of love he placed in you at birth.
I ask God to bless you with the spirit of mirth.

Believe in Yourself as God believes in you.
He knows you are good. He made you that way.

Old Testament and New Testament Stories and Coloring Sheets on Children’s

Dear Children’s Liturgy Leaders,

Here is a good resource:

It has free stories from the Old Testament and the New Testament.

They are listed by the names of the Bible Characters and also by the listing of the Scripture.

It has pictures for children to color.

It has bookmarks you can print out and color with a Bible verse on it.

It has puzzles to print out.

It also has links to coloring books you can purchase.

It think you might enjoy using them with your Children’s Liturgy or Sunday School Class.

Do something good for you.
